What was your relationship with money as a kid?

I was in hostel since my 4th grade, the only time I used to get money is when I am returning back to school / hostel after a holiday. If I were to spend money it wouldn’t be more than Rs. 5 that to for some eatables. I have always liked starting of new academic year, I will get new books, I will get to buy new things. If money is needed in case of say health issue our principal mam used to give money to aya and the money used to be settled when school fee is paid. I know I used to borrow some money here and there but I don’t remember how I have paid them. I had a friend who used to save each and every rupee he gets, he is very particular about money - once I broke his pencil box and he directly complained to principal.

Did your parents discuss money at home and how has that led you to think about money?

It was always like spending less at our home, my father and mother used to work so hard. They used to do the work even though they had chance to put laborer to work.

I barely received any pocket money when I was a kid.
